The Tucson Soaring Club owns 7 sailplanes and two towplanes.

The ASK-21 is the newest glider in the Tucson Soaring Club training fleet! It is one of the most widely produced training gliders in the world! This aircraft came to us from the glider club affiliated with the Alexander-Schleicher factory in Germany! It is one of our best looking gliders and our club member really enjoy flying it!

The mighty PW-6 joined the Tucson Soaring Club fleet over two decades ago and is still one of our most utilized training gliders. It is great primary trainer for new pilots as well as an advanced trainer for pilots looking to become flight instructors.

The Grob 103 has been a workhorse in the Tucson Soaring Club fleet for decades! It is an incredible two-seat training glider offering stable flight characteristics.

Grob "48W" is a true training veteran in our Flight Training Fleet! This glider has been through thousands of hours of primary flight training and hundreds of practical exams over its life.

This Grob recently went though a major refinish and is ready for long flights and short training hops.

This single seat glider performs well on strong and weak thermal days. With a low wing loading, it can soar for hours in relatively weak soaring conditions. Its flight controls are gentle and responsive making it a fun aircraft to operate. This glider is excellent for pilots at all skill levels.

The ASW-19 is a high performance cross-country soaring ship! With it's 15-Meter (~50 foot) wingspan, it boasts a 38:1 glide ratio and can get around fast! It is nimble on the controls making it easy to turn in an updraft.
